Tómas Lemarquis studied first acting in Paris in the Cours Florent theatre school where he graduated in 1999. After that he returned to Iceland where he studied fine arts at the Academy of fine arts in Reykjavík and graduated from there in 2003. While in art school he got offered the title role in the film “Noi the Albino” which ended up winning numerous international awards. Tómas was then nominated for the European film award and got the Icelandic Edda award. The following year Tómas was chosen to represent Iceland as a shooting star at the European film promotion. Since then he has been working in various European films and television shows. And in recent years he has also landed parts in bigger international Blockbusters, such as Snowpiercer, 3 days to kill, X-Men Apocalypse and Blade Runner 2049. As well as being one of the leading actors in the 2018 Golden Bear winner film “Touch me not”
