Gudrun Eyfjord is an Icelandic artist born in Reykjavik 1996. Gudrun has built an outstanding musical career as GDRN and gained popularity to a great extent for both her music and live performances. Gudrun has studied musical studies and various instruments, both in jazz and classical music such as classical violin, jazz-singing, piano and electric guitar for more than a decade. Although she has only been working as a professional musician since the year 2017, she has won numerous awards, for example as Singer of the Year, Song of the Year, Album of the Year and Music video of the Year at the 2019 Icelandic Music Awards. Furthermore, Gudrun has been moving even more into the field of acting and despite her young age she has been performing as an artist on stage for nearly two decades. Gudrun plays one of the main roles in the Netflix Original series ‘’KATLA’’ directed by Baltasar Kormákur premiered in 2021.
