Arndís Hrönn Egilsdóttir

Since completing her theatre studies in Paris in 1996, Arndis has participated in numerous plays in the Reykjavík City theatre, The National theatre and with various independent groups earning her three national Gríman awards nominations. Arndís has also starred in a number of Icelandic TV-series and feature films including The County by Grímur Hákonarsson (2019) where she had the lead role, Sparrows by Rúnar Rúnarsson, The Valhalla Murders by Thordur Pálsson, Prisoners by Ragnar Bragason, the Press by Óskar Jónasson  and Alma by Kristín Jóhannesdóttir which is now in post production. Arndís was nominated for the Icelandic EDDA Awards as Best Supporting Actress for her roles in Sparrows and the Press, and in 2020 she was nominated for the same award as the Best main actress for her role in The County.
