Erlen Isabella

Erlen Isabella (b. 2005) is an Icelandic actress. Throughout the past few years, she has been building a professional career in theatre and television. She entered the magical world of acting when she was eight years old—playing the role of the “great-grandmother” in Óvitar, at the National Theatre of Iceland (2013-2014). Since then, she has performed in total six professional productions at three theaters:

In 2018, Erlen was co-host alongside legendary Icelandic actor Björgvin Franz at the BHM anniversary party, which was live-streamed nationally. In addition to live performances, she has done work on children’s TV programs, national and international commercials, and cartoon voiceovers. Erlen won “TV Star of the Year” at the 2019 Saga Kids Choice Awards.

Her outgoing spirit shines not only through her acting, but her singing and dancing as well—always finding her own “swag” in everything. She has competed abroad at the Dance World Cup (2019), winning 4th place in the “song and dance” category, and reaching the semi-finals in the street dance battle. Erlen has studied multiple styles of street dance since 2012 (and is part of the Icelandic Break Dance group “Element Crew”), and musical theatre dance since 2016.

Erlen makes peoples’ hearts smile wherever she goes. Her life motto is: “Life is my adventure…”
