Kári Viðarsson is a performance artist, artistic director and entertainer. His formal education is in acting although, in his career, he has been involved in almost all aspects of the creative process of performance making. When it comes to creative work, Kári is best described as a jack of all trades. He started his own theatre and culture centre, The Freezer, in 2010 and through initiating and participating in all the in-house projects he’s gathered a wide range of experience that makes him a very versatile artist and creator. During the last decade, Kári has been a writer and producer, artistic director and curator, set designer and music composer, actor, stand-up artists and entertainer. Kári is a student of art, always seeking new opportunities to expand his horizon, taking risks in his creative processes and choice of projects.
