Ragnar Ísleifur Bragason was born in Reykjavík in 1977. He graduated from The Iceland Academy of the Arts, Theater and Performance Making. In 2008 he puplished the poetry book “While”. He has been working with a number of theater companies throughout the years, including Vaðall, Kriðpleir and 16 lovers. He has written and performed in several shows with these groups and also been the co-author and actor in two radio plays with Kriðpleir theater group that were broadcasted on the Icelandic National Radio, channel one. Ragnar has been nominated for the Icelandic Theater awards a few times with Kriðpleir and won them once with 16 lovers. He has also acted in a few TV series in Iceland and also in the film “The District”. He premiered his solo piece “Old” in 2018. Ragnar enjoys life and has a son and daughter he loves very much. He also works as a tour guide and has commerical rights to drive a bus.
