Siggi Ingvarsson

Siggi Ingvarsson graduated with a B.A. in acting from the Iceland University of the Arts in 2022. Although his career has been short, it already involves major projects. He played the part of Johan Sveinsson in the fourth season of Killing Eve, and Jonas in the Focus Feature Touch by Baltasar Kormakur. He also played one of the lead roles in Summerlight… and Then Comes the Night, which was nominated as Film of the Year at the Edda Awards in 2022 and won Best Nordic Film at SBIFF.

In theatre, Siggi has worked in both independent productions and major venues like the Reykjavík City Theatre. In 2024, he had a lead role in the musical Jagged Little Pill at the City Theatre. During the same year, he portrayed Kjarval in a biographical work about the Icelandic artist Jóhannes Kjarval.

Siggi’s upcoming projects include portraying Ragnar Arinbjarnar, ex-husband of the first female president in the world, Vigdís Finnbogadóttir, in the biographical series Vigdís. And he will be playing Brick, the lead in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof by Tennessee Williams in December 2024.

Siggi Ingvarsson is a diverse performer with skills in singing and dancing. He is multilingual, having acted in English, Swedish, and German. He also speaks Spanish fluently.
